Intersections allowed viewers a peek inside the lives and work of the people within the intersectional environmentalism movement via virtual studio tours. From activist, artist, urban gardener, community organizers and other professional in the movement, we learned so much from these conversations, and you can too, but viewing them on our IGTV page

Fridays with Friends was an online artist residency program featuring a new local artist each week, with a new theme and artistic how-to class each week. Featured artists included Jamia Weir, Robin Banks and Julio Muñoz. Activities included making plarn (plastic yarn), nature mandalas and collage self portraits. Classes took place via Zoom every Friday at noon PDT from April 3 – May 2, 2020.

Food for Thought was an online version of our collaboration with FEAST for All in South Central LA, was for school-aged youth and explores healthy eating and creating art from food packaging. Participants learned collaging techniques as well as how to incorporate the elements of design into mixed media compositions. It took place with teaching artist Allegra at 3pm PST on Wednesdays through April 29, 2020. We transitioned this program from in-person to online programming in the midst of the COVID-19 crisis, and look forward to continuing it in any form this fall!
